When an emergency happens, a lot of volunteers with a wide range of skills are required to help get things back to normal.
Becoming a volunteer can be a great way to learn some new skills and give back to your community.

Community Training
Community training is aimed at people who want to support their local community during an emergency, This includes training for volunteers will might be working in Community Emergency Hubs, with a focus on practical skills such as helping connect people with information, resources they need, or triaging people as they arrive a centres.
Coordination Centre
Coordination Centre training is designed for council staff, partner agencies and stakeholders who may be involved in emergency response in the coordination centres. This training is largely based on the Coordinated Incident Management System (CIMS) and focuses on how agencies work together, share information and manage incidents in a structure and coordinated way.
